CALL FOR PARTICIPATION The Espace Culture Multimédia at Confluences Paris invites to participate in a workshop on SuperCollider programming. The aim of this workshop is to bring together a wide spectrum of musicians, composers, artists and programmers interested in real-time sound synthesis, algorithmic composition, and live-coding. Please note that the NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS IS LIMITED to twenty people. Time schedule: --------------------- Feb 26th / 27th, 2008: INTRODUCTORY CLASS - General introduction to SuperCollider - Basic programming in SuperCollider Fees: This part of the workshop is FREE OF CHARGE FOR REGISTERED USERS. Feb 28th / March 1st: ADVANCED PROGRAMMER'S CLASS with Alberto de Campo - This workshop will be given in English - Advanced topics in real-time sound synthesis - Live-coding and musical improvisation Fees: This part of the workshop is charged with EUR 100,- (for three days) Important Notes: ---------------------- Please bring your own notebooks for the workshop. Cet atelier est destiné aux personnes intéressées par la synthèse sonore, la composition assistée par ordinateur et le traitement temps-réel en vue de performances. L'atelier destiné à une vingtaine de personnes se déroulera en deux temps: _Un atelier d'initiation_ : les mardi et mercredi 26 et 27, entrée libre dans la limite des places disponibles _Un masterclass_ de trois jours avec Alberto de Campo, sur le thème du LIVE-CODING, principalement en anglais. Le coût pour ces 3 journées est de 100 euros. /réservation nécessaire dans les deux cas./ Vous êtes encouragé à apporter votre ordinateur portable.
