Sorry, I don't have any ideas beyond that. My best guess when I gave up was that Pd was still being run by an 8.4.7 wish process... looking through the relevant Pd source code it struck me as possible but I didn't confirm it for sure. Is there a way to see the child processes being spawned by the Pd-extended executable? I opened it via XCode's Instruments (aka gdb) but was overwhelmed quickly
