Don't worry too much, that's a shiny, new manual, so not everyone knows about it. As Roman outlined it is possible to set the audio/midi stuff from the patch, but doing it that way is not well documented and perhaps a bit strange, so feel free to ask more questions. It is something that would be good to figure out on this list, so that it can be well documented. .hc > thanks > Simone >> >> (Comments and corrections welcome, BTW!) >> >> best! >> Derek >> >> simone-www.io-lab.org wrote: >> >>>> I hope there's a way to do it. >>> i am also interested to know if the midi/audio settings can be >>> handled >>> from within the patch, for example the midi ports don t show in jack >>> before you activate them so something like a >>> loadbang--1--<loadmidiports> together with lash would make a patch >>> ready at every startup. >> >> >> -- >> derek holzer ::: http://www.umatic.nl ::: http://blog.myspace.com/ >> macumbista >> ---Oblique Strategy # 12: >> "Always give yourself credit for having more than personality" >> >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> [email protected] mailing list >> UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> http://lists.puredata.info/ >> listinfo/pd-list >> > > > > -- > .wmv , .wma , .pps along with all proprietary Windows formats won t be > accepted and/or viewed.... > > _______________________________________________ > [email protected] mailing list > UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> http://lists.puredata.info/ > listinfo/pd-list ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---- 'You people have such restrictive dress for women,’ she said, hobbling away in three inch heels and panty hose to finish out another pink-collar temp pool day. - “Hijab Scene #2", by Mohja Kahf _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list
