Ok I fixed it....I got my 8 channels working under the MMIO driver using a sample rate of 48000.....44100 is not supported for more than 2 channels it seems. There was a message in the command prompt suggesting I use "Capability function to discover supported formats" Anyone know what that is all about? Nick.
