Hello all ! I'm trying to display a live video stream coming from my Linksys WVC210 (basically, an IP camera) in a Gem window. I can open the stream with VLC, it's located in http://IP_CAMERA/img/video.asf.
I've searched thru the archive of this list, and found this http://lists.puredata.info/pipermail/pd-list/2009-03/068513.html I sure could send it to a pipe as explained, but could I access this pipe with Gem ? I may be wrong, but using pdp is not an option, as i want to mix an existing Gem-using patch with this live stream. The pdp2gem object seems to be broken. I'm running pd 0.41.0-extended and Gem 0.91. Any ideas ? Thanks, Baptiste
