hi,

I hoped to follow in Hector's footsteps and install this on the planet's FC10. But while i didn't see any errors when installing when I run this Pd I don't get any audio (when I select Jack I get I/ O stuck; it works ok with the version that nando packages, but that's 0.39). It also can't find some libraries (below). It's rather sad really becuase I was hoping to be able to run it for a performance on Monday.

zexy: can't load library
freeverb: can't load library
mapping: can't load library
mrpeach: can't load library
flatspace: can't load library
unauthorized: can't load library
iemlib: can't load library
pan: can't load library
list-abs: can't load library
cyclone: can't load library
hcs: can't load library
sms: can't load library
markex: can't load library

I am guessing that you have a preferences file in ~/.pdsettings that doesn't load 'libdir' first. Are those libraries in /usr/local/lib/pd/ extra?

/usr/local/lib/pd/extra/Gem/Gem.pd_linux: libMagick++.so.10: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Gem: can't load library

Looks like you need to install libmagick.

Just wanted to let you know that using the Fedora package in Fedora Core 10 the font still seems too big. The text still sticks out of the

I think this is basically ready to go

Please test on Windows and give feedback! I haven't heard anything about Windows. It's looking ready for release, so please try it if you haven't already so we can find the last bugs. As far as I know, there aren't any outstanding bugs that need to be fixed for this release. So I think this
is
the release.
Test away and file bugs in the bug tracker!

This release candidate includes:
* on GNU/Linux, corrected font size when using Tcl/Tk 8.5
* moocow/flite speech synth added on all platforms
* fixed strict-aliasing build problems with cyclone, iemlib, bsaylor, and
sigpack
* (Windows) increased default audio buffer to 100ms since there are some
really flaky audio cards in Windows land
* (Mac OS X) decreased buffers to 20ms since all Apple hardware that I
have
tested in the past 7 years works with that
