[PD] mp3amp~ looping and repeating problem

I had some problems using mp3amp~ (v0.12) to receive streams. I'm 
running Ubuntu and after some googling it seems it's a common problem.
Basically, the stream loops every second or so, so the audio is 
constantly repeated. Is there another version available or another 
solution? I've been using oggamp~ without problems but I'd like to use 
some mp3 streams too.
