Seems like this could be better handled by making jack connection managment better in Pd.

Hello,
This is exactly what I do at the moment. The idea is to be able, for
example to load a set of patch from an ardour session, and maybe
handle presets.
At the moment, it's a pain to load and reroute every patch into jack
when I load a session.
This was done on windows with pdvst wich allows you to use pd patch
just as every other vst plugin.

Cheers.

just use jack and route your audio signals :)

Hello,

Is there a way to run pd patch as a LADSPA or LV2 plugin within linux
software (like ardour or rosegarden), like what was done with pdsvt
for vst. If not, is there any plans to do it.
It can be a very cool feature as Pd is a nice platform to easily
develop small or complex dsp effects, synths or midi effects, and the "lack" of plugins is well known on linux (even if some of the ones we
have are very good !).

Thank you in advance,

Cheers.
