Hi Marco,
This may seem trivial.. but have you tried installing to a different
directory from the default one (usually %PROGRAMFILES%\pd on windows),
or completely uninstalling the previous pd version and moving (deleting)
its directory (but before deleting make sure there is nothing you had
added or want to keep like in the extras directory etc.)
Kind regards,
Lorenzo.

Yes, thx Hc, usually it's like that, but infact in my attempts I
turned off everything could make problems and avoided all this tiring
details, but no way...
In the meanwhile i re-installed 0.40.3 and everything is fine.
This is weird (as always on windows)... i'm afraid it could be
something with the registry?
mmmm...

From what I remember, those kinds of problems are usually caused
by Anti-Virus, but the only time I touch Windows is to build Pd,
so I am not a very reliable source.

Hi all,
i finally had the time to update Pd on my windows machine, but i
get error during the setup (0.41.4) with pd.dll "file is
corrupted". This happens also for other files.
I had previously installed Pd-ext.0.40.3 and i uninstalled it
(since i read about the bug with windows installer).
I tried to download the setup many times, but got always the
same. Since from the official release nobody wrote about this
kind of error, i guess it could be a silly problem of my
(arrrghh)PC system...?
any idea?
thanks
cheers
