just remembered something: how about while editing an object, return
closes the object? besides for comments, return isn't used for anything
else.
and that brings up another one: would fixing comments to keep line breaks
have anything to do with the work you're doing now? (probably not)

Just a status update on the pd-gui-rewrite. There is now undo again,
and cut/copy/paste inside of object and message boxes should work on all
platforms
Also, things build on Windows, both in Cygwin and MinGW. Cygwin is the
easiest way if you are starting from scratch. The instructions are in
the above wiki page.
