That's not right. The syntax of 'canvas' is:
canvas topLeftX topLeftY Width Height (not including the menu/title
bar)

Hmm, you are indeed right. That's how the internal canvas_setbounds()
function specs the coords and how t_glist stores them, unfortunately...
