Yeah its a known bug in the GOP code of Pd as far as I can tell. it
seems to happen with a bunch of objects.

I'm using pd extended 0.42.5 rc4 on mac osx 10.6.4 and [grid]
creates but isn't drawn. This leads to any graph on parent patches
crashing when using it.
Does it happen on other operating systems as well?
