Don't you want to do:

| number box|
|
| s tutu |

| r tutu |              [bang]  <- hit this bang and it works, it has stored
your var.
|                         /
| value myvar |
|
| numberbox |


You were naming the var tutu, expecting it to receive directly the value.
But as far as I'm concerned you always need a | r | to receive.
