hi mark, you can try with a simple python script something like:
import osos.system('ffmpeg -i /Users/bla/video.flv -vcodec mjpeg /Users/bla/video.avi')
if it's working, then maybe it's a problem with the savepath. also starting pd in a terminal might give you more info.
