where did you read this? Pd-extended currently does not build Gem at all on w32, it takes the official binary release, which includes QuickTime support. you can easily check whether yuo do have QuickTime support if you have a look what's printed to the pd-console when you first create a [pix_film] object. anyhow, the problem you probably have is, that DirectShow is able to open the film quite well, so QuickTime is never tried. you have to force [pix_film] to use the QuickTime backend. fgamsdr IOhannes -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkyAsdIACgkQkX2Xpv6ydvQG5gCgm3AwTUnimdfrSA8Dl5n4EsJn 0g4AoJrCZlaPqHiofqLalh+EnxrKzW4c =zso1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list
