i would suspect that recoding the video might lead to a cleaner structure of the framerate information. e.g. if the original video has a variable framerate though e.g. all the frames have the same length, and the re-encoded video has a fixed framerate (of the same length), the you might get noticeable performance improvements. fgmasdr IOhannes
