instead of building 1600 switches - will take lots of time and slow your
patch down, you can use route with variable prefixes to have the same
pannel routing information to different places.

What kind of switch do you need ?... opening a subpatch and closing it,

already one kind of switch. If that doesn't suit you, there are perhaps
other possibilities.
