The input data is just a video stream. It's utterly mangled by a simple formula. All those variations basically just differ by the input image (that I haven't kept... nor even seen in a window) and three numbers.
I wouldn't quite know how to use that for making music, but you could put the images through some generic image player (there is photo_pianoroll.pd in GridFlow's examples).
