personally, i hate this shortcut :
it's the only one I use that i can't do with my left hand only. Since the right
hand is on my mouse, it is not really convinient to use it.
and since the clear button disappear, i have use the edit menu / clear log.
well, look like someone god is someone else nightmare.

This is exactly why we now have GUI plugins. You could easily add the
Clear button to your own custom Pd window, or change the key bindings.
i use pd on a lot's of computer. most of them are not mine.
if i add a plug-in on my computer, it will be more frustrating that things
don't work like i wish 50% of the time, since i don't change configuration of
others computers.
