like, it sounds exactly the same loudness whatever the volume, so long as
it's not 0 (my headphones are sitting beside the laptop - they're going
nowhere near my head)
then either you are not adjusting the volume of the headphones, or your volume
control is not working. That is a problem with your system and nothing you do in
pd will help.
