Dammit!  I overplayed my hand.

Ok, so you have an object to report the actual selector getting passed around 
in Pd, which obviously differentiates between between "list" and "bang".

So-- name two!*

* doesn't include any externals like selector that suffer from pd-dev reverb, 
which is the 
phenomena of missing features in the core being reflected in multiple externals 
by 
different authors which all do essentially the same thing.
