Hi Hans The 0.42's info is about timeout, and 0.43's info is "ERROR: failed to allocate port, exiting!"
The system log of running 0.42 is something like : "defaults: The domain/default pair of (/Users/***/Pd-0.42-6.app/ Contents/Resources/Scripts/../../org.puredata.pd, audiobuf) does not exist " I had tried all ways from google, include some suggestions from your posts. Finally I have reinstalled my OS Lion, and it works. Though I still don't know why it crashed. Thanks.
