If it's that, on Linux, i've been sending a message
"rm /home/myhomedir/pathtojpegs/*.tif" to "motex/system" before saving a
tif file with pix_writer (and pix_write). That way it's always named
image00000.tif
the 1st image you save is always image00000.tif, whatever is on the directory
(it may write on top on an other file).
the 2nd will be image00001.tif. even if you remove everything in the directory.
