I have a student from China, and every version of Pd I've tried on her machine either crashes or (with Pd-extended 0.42-5) hangs on load. locahost is there as far as I can tell from ifconfig The Activity Monitor application shows a red Pd-extended process, but since her computer was entirely in Chinese and I didn't have much time to resolve it, I don't know what it meant! Pd 0.43 amd Pd-extended 0.43 both started and quit. Any ideas? Has anyone experienced this and solved it?
