Hi list, just to say, I'm testing the terratec aureon 7.1 on rpi+pd. This interface works with the generic usb-audio driver.
It does not work well. I can get proper stereo output at 44.1KHz but not more. If I setup pd to anything between 3 to 8 output channel, it gives a sawtooth-like output in the test patch, even at 22KHz, 1 second latency and large buffers. Slowing down the usb does not solve it : the kernel says "schedule_periodic: Insufficient periodic bandwidth for periodic transfer". Putting it on a powered usb hub does not help.
