Best place is to use the OpenFrameworks forum. ofxPd provides a wrapper for libpd, but does not provide the audio interface, that is handled by OF.
OF uses RtAudio in the backend I believe so, if RtAudio is compiled with Jack support, it *should* work in theory. One issue with OF is that, as it’s a more visually focused framework, the built in sound options are relatively limited, ie. device control etc. -------- Dan Wilcox @danomatika <https://twitter.com/danomatika> danomatika.com <http://danomatika.com/> robotcowboy.com <http://robotcowboy.com/> > On Jun 1, 2016, at 1:28 PM, [email protected] wrote: > > From: Alexandros Drymonitis <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>> > Subject: [PD] ofxPd on Linux with Jack > Date: June 1, 2016 at 9:55:12 AM MDT > To: "[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>" > <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>> > > > I'm trying to use the ofxPd addon and even though the examples provided > compile fine on my computer exchanging data between OF and Pd (I did some > tests with some modified examples too), I can't find a way to use the addon > with Jack. > Any ideas?
