Hi list, I am puzzled by a simple problem in Gem but am unable to find a solution from Gem's documentation:
Playing back anim-1.mov from one pix_film object and forking the pix-stream using [t a a] in order to be able to crossfade between its color and greyscale version, I am getting a grey picture in the unmodified branch as soon as the right outlet of [t a a] is connected to [pix_2grey] inlet, even with that object's outlet being left unconnected. (see attached patch) I don't understand why this happens, I have checked all colorspaces with [pix_info] and they are alike (RGBA). Is there a better way to crossfade between a color image and its grayscaled version? Thanks for all ideas! Peter
