This is to present three opportunities for those of you who are interested in composing for high-density loudspeaker arrays (HDLAs). First, the Computer Music Journal is soliciting letters on the subject of composing computer music for HDLAs. Please see http://www.computermusicjournal.org/HDLA-forum.html Second, The Spatial Music Workshop at Virginia Tech will take place between July 30 - August 3, 2017. This is an opportunity for composers, sound artists, and audio researchers to learn about spatial audio and work with the 139-loudspeaker system in the Cube at Virginia Tech Please see: http://www.icat.vt.edu/content/2017-spatial-music-workshop Finally, Cube Fest at Virginia Tech will take place between August 3 - 6, 2017.
