probably i do not understand the problem correctly: you send the same bang that starts the readsf~-playback to the tabwrite~ which records the sample. it should happen at the same 'logical time'. i never had any problems with clicks etc. the only real drawback is, that you have to set the maximum samplelength before loading the sample.
