(sorry for making this a feature-request spot)
as there are talks about an upcoming new PD release:
there's one feature of the [text] object i'm missing most of the time,
which is an "insert" method.
i.e. to insert a new list at a specific line number and shifting the
rest of the entries one line up (rather than just replacing the old one).
also the fact that [text sequence] can also work as a global message
sender is such an important feature for state-saving concepts ... i
think it needs a better and more prominent hint in the help file. i just
discovered it some days ago, it's a fantastic but obscured feature.
(looking for a remote sending mechanism inside a help patch for
sequencing is not too obvious - even if it says
"sequencer/message-sender" next to it... ).
