I prefer to use OF for visuals and computer vision and Pd for audio and mapping. It just makes more sense to me and I find textual programming in a lower level language to be faster/better for cv. The tracker sends blob detection info to Pd which does the rest and each scene is a separate Pd patch, as with my performance system.
