ok, solved! I was able to follow steps here
http://jensd.be/800/linux/cross-compiling-for-arm-with-ubuntu-16-04-lts /
here: https://www.acmesystems.it/arm9_toolchain and then compile with
pdlibbuilder by doing "make CC=arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc target.arch=arm7l
install objectsdir=../"

seems to have worked and it's up here:
https://github.com/porres/pd-else/releases/tag/v1.0-beta15

I can't test it though, maybe someone with a raspbeery pi can tell me if it
worked :)

Still trying to see, though, if I can manage to open a virtual raspberry pi
machine to download Pd and test these...
