It's basically another bug in Tk on macOS using the Cocoa backend. Other applications have no problem handling Shift+Command+H, however Tk's keyboard handling simply listens to key events and doesn't catch/override the NSWindow's default key bindings so the Command+H gets caught by the window and hides it.
Annoying, but I didn't want to wade into fixing Tk at the time in order to achieve cross-platform consistency. > On Jan 6, 2019, at 11:40 PM, [email protected] wrote: > > From: Lucas Cordiviola <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>> > To: Manuel Haible <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>>, > "[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>" > <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>> > Subject: Re: [PD] .49 Hslider shortcut Shift+Control+J <--- > Message-ID: > > <bn3pr01mb19562ac771bb7085f75a9d27a6...@bn3pr01mb1956.prod.exchangelabs.com > <mailto:bn3pr01mb19562ac771bb7085f75a9d27a6...@bn3pr01mb1956.prod.exchangelabs.com>> > > Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" > > It was changed to "J" because macOS reserves "cmd-h" for something else. > > see: https://lists.puredata.info/pipermail/pd-list/2017-07/119768.html > <https://lists.puredata.info/pipermail/pd-list/2017-07/119768.html> > > :) > > Mensaje telepatico asistido por maquinas. > > On 1/6/2019 5:44 PM, Manuel Haible wrote: > > Nothing to worry, but little confusing: > in 0.49 (and 0.48) the shortcut for the horizintal slider is Shift Control J > and not H, as it has been before. > > > Is this normal ¿ -------- Dan Wilcox @danomatika <http://twitter.com/danomatika> danomatika.com <http://danomatika.com/> robotcowboy.com <http://robotcowboy.com/>
