Typically, a program hangs when it is waiting for some kind of resource. This might be a system resource (allocating memory, reading/writing a file from/to disk, CPU ticks) or any other kind of resource like user input or response from network socket etc. > i just encountered that pd was stuck on looping a snipet of an > audiofile…and i have no idea how to reproduce this...
