Hi all, I am new to this mailing list, so pleased to meet you! I have been thinking about this question since a while: is it possible to say that Pd is more efficient than Max? In one hand is pretty obvious that Max requires more space for documentation and all the externals and whathever, but does this lead more latency and more cpu-wasting when it comes to audio synthesis? I also did not have the possibility to test Max in an old PC.
Plus, -if there is a newbie-friendly possible answer- in which ways do the overall architectures of the two programs diverge? I am not talking about the obvious differencies about the two programs which can be easily found on the Internet. I am also sorry if this question was already asked, but I did not found any thread about it (and it is possible that I searched wrong!). Thanks a lot
