Funded PhD position in Music Technology available at University of Oslo The Department of Musicology at The University of Oslo invites applications for a PhD Research Fellowship (SKO1017) in the field of Music Technology. The successful candidate will work on an independent research project in the field of music technology. Proposals within the area of new technologies for music will be considered. We especially encourage novel applications in areas such as networked music, artificial intelligence, sound and music computing, music information retrieval, experimental practices, or new interfaces for musical expression. Proposals which engage with social and cultural issues such as race, gender, power hierarchies, agency and ownership are encouraged. Application deadline 31st January 2021.
