use [textfile]’s read to get the content of the folder somehow
as the name suggests, [textfile] can only read *files*.
Fortunatly, the upcoming Pd 0.52 has a new [file] object which allows to do all sorts of low level file system operations.
Grab the test release from Miller's website and check out [file glob]. Christof On 14.12.2021 09:58, Pierre Alexandre Tremblay wrote:
Dear all I am banging my head against the wall, trying to get [openpanel 1] to give me the content of the folder in question. I was hoping that I could: - use [textfile]’s read to get the content of the folder somehow - use [text define xx]’s read message But no cigar. Is there any other avenue or hack or way around? I sometimes have regrets of sticking to vanilla for FluCoMa dependencies… Any pointer welcome p _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> https://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list
