Just for reference, on a Debian stable (bullseye) system you would make sure the following line is in your apt sources.list deb http://httpredir.debian.org/debian bullseye-backports main contrib non-free update the package cache and search for available pd versions, eg $ apt list -a puredata which on my system yields puredata/bullseye-backports,bullseye-backports,now 0.52.1-1~bpo11+1 all [installed] puredata/stable,stable 0.51.4-1 all puredata/oldstable,oldstable 0.49.0-3 all and install it using either $ apt install puredata/bullseye-backports or $ apt install puredata=0.52.1-1~bpo11+1 (untested) cheersz, P _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> https://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list
