you probably should post this on the issue-tracker.(also note that crashing is always painful, but i do not think it helps with the problem description; afaiu the problem is really that when you edit a cloned abstraction "foo" and remake the [clone foo] object, you do not get the "Discard changes to 'foo.pd'?" popup; correct me if i'm wrong)
