@IOhannes: I would suggest to remove those ugly messages from the
mailing archive, if possible. If this was a forum, they would have
likely been flagged and removed/hidden.
i second that, as sometimes we are too passionate about our creation,
and over-react over some critics that are hardly of even not justified,
when they are made by people who never use some features ( or clearly
externals ) and tell bad things about it.
for me, that period is clearly behind, as i made many other projects
after my pD contributions,
and i agree to pass the torch to someone else,
but in a Creative Common manner, with a BY-NC-SA license,
meaning that author of things should always be preserved,
like this should be for pd OpenCV, whose concept was first developped
by Llgib and i joined his effort later, but contributing a good 30% of
the code
and almost all documentation.
we did workshops together with a main theme of Computer Vision ( without
AI )
and our roles were rather clear, now the AI took over
and i'm not particpating in AI ( too tedious and boring )..
