Howdy all, I am pleased to announce a version 1.0.0 update to a small project I started way back when I was first using Pd:
joyosc: a cross platform hid device to osc event daemon used in the robotcowboy project https://github.com/danomatika/joyosc It's basically a gamepad & joystick event forwarder over OSC which I have been using since 2006. If you prefer *not* to fiddle with an HID object, give it a try. With the help of Albert Graef (and testing form his students), the biggest updates are sensor, rumble, and LED support for modern gamepads, as well as event value normalization, device querying, and Windowed mode option + icon. Most of the codebase has been refactored and cleaned up for modern C++. Relatedly, the next version of PdParty will also support sensors, LEDs, and rumble for Xbox and PS4/PS5 controllers.
