your email reminded me, that there is one thing I might have not made clear in all my arguing (and which might not have been obvious for a global community).

the deken.puredata.info and puredata.info servers are physically located in austria. as such, we are bound by european laws on what we may do. in this context, the interesting law is the GDPR [1], which restricts which data we may collect and publish.
