Title: Can you control how a PDF is opened when downloaded from the web?
Hello –
Can someone tell me if it’s possible for a PDF author to control the method by which a user views a PDF?. For example, a user clicks on a link to a pdf on my web page. I’d like to have that user save the pdf to a local directory before viewing it. The methods I can think of are: save to a local directory, open the pdf in my browser window with the pdf utility, open the pdf in a new acrobat window.
Thanks for any assistance.
