Acrobat 6 Standard incorporates the same basic creation tools (Create PDF, Adobe PDF Printer, Distiller, Web Capture and Paper Capture) that Pro does. It also features SOME (but not all) of the PDFMaker macros for MSOffice, though not for higher end products such as Visio or AutoCAD (on Windows).
Elements is PDF creation through Distiller from ANY application...
