[PDF-Basics] Acrobat 6 Editing Tools

I have just upgraded from Version 4.0 to 6.0 and seem to have lost the ability to move blocks of text. Where have the 'grab handles' gone that allowed you to do this? I often have to translate the text in PDF versions of drawings generated from SolidWorks, and realigning text is essential.   I am also struggling to move bookmarks. When I create a new bookmark that I need to move to the top of the list, the red triangle refuses to appear at the top. I have tried moving it next to the top, then moving the top one down, but even this does not always work.   Any suggestions?   Steve
