PDF-Basics is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com/ __________________________________________________________________
If you want to bring the maps into Word in a scalable and editable vector graphics format, you could use our pdf2vector software to batch convert your PDF files to WMF or EMF format. Doing so means you'll get optimal display quality on any size/resolution screen at any zoom level, optimal print quality to any Windows printer, and you can edit both graphical elements and text strings of the map using the Word drawing tools. These things are all lost with bitmap solutions like screen capture, copy-paste and TIFF/JPEG export. Our (commercial) software is available on Windows, Linux and UNIX platforms in desktop, server and developer configurations. See URL below for details. Should you just need this for one file, you're welcome to send it to me and I'll send you back the map in WMF format.
