try the window updates first prior to a complete reinstall

I've updated both for the latest versions (WK2000 and XP pro)...
Still no luck...
Have not done the browser uninstall/reinstall yet, though...

Thanks,
Bill

Sounds like some files (.dll's) are missing.
I would perform an uninstall/reinstall.
If this does not work, check your browser for updates.

The .PDF file opens....
It works fine...
Then when I close it (.PDF) the browser gives an error message (Something like: iexplore.exe has caused a fault and the program must close), it freezes (can not navigate on that website anymore) and the site/browser disappears form the screen and I must restart Internet Explorer again...

Does that make any sense?

Thanks,
Bill

What do you mean on internet crashes?
Do you mean the file opens but you can't see anything or
it takes to long to open the pdf

Subject: [PDF-Basics] PDF Crashes I-Explorer

This is my second time asking this question...
Hopefully, someone can help...

Anytime I try to open a PDF from the Internet it crashes my iexplorer....
Whether I build it or someone else has built it...
Please note the same PDF files only crash two (one has XP Pro and the other has 2000) of my five computers (they are...one with 98SE, and two with XP Home) the others never crash...

Could it be OS or Security Settings (I've tried to reset some)?
Thanks,
Bill
