I have several two page forms with form fields on both pages. I also have links on the page to other documents and the web. These are posted primarily to Acrobat Reader 5 customers on Win 95.

When tabbing through the fields it selects each of the link boxes as if it was a field. This is confusing to my customer who doesn't want to select the links and wants the form to flow like it did in Acrobat 4.X. This only happens in Acrobat 5, when these files are opened in 4 and 6 work as they should.

I've rebuilt the forms on both a Mac and a PC from Acrobat 4, 5, and 6, the problem still persists in Acrobat 5 and Reader 5. I've looked at using form fields and setting the Tab order, but Tab order is limited to one page in Acrobat 5 and I have links that go inside other pdfs.

Having the customer change his version of Reader isn't a go. He insists on it working consistently on the three latest versions of Reader. I don't blame him, i just don't know how to make it work. Any suggestions?

Only one, and it's tedious: use an on-blur JS action to set the focus to the next field, and forget about tab order.
