Title: Capturing and editing documents
Have you tried using Acrobat 6.0 and export the PDF as a .doc?  When capturing an image (screen capture or using the snapshot tool in Adobe Reader) set your screen resolution as high as possible and save the clipboard output as a .bmp - you may get better results.

Subject: [PDF-Basics] Capturing and editing documents

I am currently trying to take documents (1 or 2-page letters) that are generated from code (text and formatting are specified in the code) and generate a file for each of the documents that I can edit in Paint to replace info (such as name, address).  My goal is to provide a sample of each of these documents.

I can view the documents on the web through Adobe Reader.  Then what I've been doing is making a PDF of the documents.  When I have the PDF displayed in Adobe Reader and use select and copy to bring the document into Word, I lose all the formatting; when I capture the information as an image, the image is blurry.

Is there another way to capture this information and edit it, while still retaining formatting and clarity?

Thanks for any help.
