Title: RE: [PDF-Basics] Cropping pages in PDF ??

It looks as if maybe this pdf was imposed for press (4 up, sheet wise), you can crop each page and depanding on what you are aiming at, save each page as an eps, and please the 8 resulting eps, in a 8 page layout program, print to postscript and redistill, and presto you will have a 8 page pdf.

Hope this helps,

Richard Holstein

      Hi,

We received a PDF file from our UK customers that needs help badly. The PDF document prints 4 pages on one sheet of paper. Is there any way this can be split? I tried the cropping tool without much success.

FYI, the file was created with Quark, we have no access to the original and the PDF file is actually 8 pages long even though Acrobat says its two.

Does anybody have any ideas out there?

      Thanks in advance,

What are you trying to do? Create one pdf with 8 individual pages? If that's the case, I'd make 8 copies, and go back to the cropping tool. Crop out all but one page in each of your copies, then put them back together again when you're done using "insert pages" (under "Document")

    Good Luck!
